What is Flashberry Intro Builder?
Flashberry Intro Builder is an easy-to-use online tool you can use to build your own flash intros.
Why should I use it?
You can build your own flash intro in a matter of minutes with NO technical knowledge whatsoever using only a web browser. No software to download or install is needed.
How does it work?
Flashberry Intro Builder allows you to design and download flash intros by combining free templates with your own content. Having completed your work, you can instantly save and download your intro file (swf) and the web page to embed it (html).
What are its requirements?
All you need is a Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher web browser with the Macromedia Flash 5 or higher plug-in installed.
How much does it cost?
You can download your completed intro at absolutely no charge. To keep this service free we insert a small, non obtrusive flashberry logo in the upper left corner of your downloaded content.
What kinds of templates are available?
At this moment you can insert in your intro movie clips, images, text effects and sound templates.
How can I personalize these templates?
Although Flashberry Intro Builder is based on free templates you can customize all the elements you insert by changing their color, position and size.
Can I insert my own content?
You have the ability to insert your own graphic files: non-interlaced jpg files up to 20KB. You can also insert up to nine pages of text and a link targeting an email or internet address.
How do I change the font size?
Select text from the option menu, select position and from there you can zoom in and out.
Intro upload problem.
I can't seem to upload the new intro into my website.
To have an intro running into a browser you need two files: 1 html page (.html) to be opened by the browser which displays the animation and 1 swf/flash file (.swf) representing the animation itself. Furthermore, they need to have the same name, default being "my_intro".
For example, to use the flash intro as your index page type in "index" instead of "my_intro" in the save options page name field. Then save in the same location both the swf and the html file. Both must have the same name "index" otherwise it won't work. You'll end up with the following files: "index.html" and "index.swf".
Test it locally before uploading just to be sure it's not a server issue.
